Hello!
...
My name is Elizabeth and I am the new pre-K teacher at
ABCD Academy for Children.
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with
your children.
My passion of teaching makes me always ready to
look for more interesting and effective ways of
teaching.
My last job was director of a large day care center,
where I worked for 5 years.
I was good at what I was doing, but I missed more
and more being in the classroom.
This is why I decided to “come back” to this level,
and use my experience
and knowledge to teach my pupils, and to share my
experience with other teachers.
Personally, I am a wife and mother of three: 24, 19 and
14. I love nature, gardening and animals.
I have two dogs, two canaries, one cat, and a few
fish at home,
and squirrels, birds, chipmunks and rabbits in my
garden.
I am Senior Member in the United States Air Force
Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol.
I like to volunteer in the organization by making
interesting assignments with children
and seniors, and by helping to run the
organization.
I hope to volunteer on a mission to be a teacher in
a third world country.
I could taste it when I visited my daughter this
year, who is on a long term mission in Honduras.
I already started to learn Spanish! I would like to
speak Spanish fluently.
Professionally, I was a teacher from the beginning of my
life.
Even as a child I had all my dolls in the circle
listening to my lessons.
It looked cute and funny. My mother knew I would be
a teacher!
Even when I graduated college in Finance, I hid my
diploma in my drawer and followed my heart.
I gained my teaching degree in Poland. I speak both
English and Polish.
I attend different workshops, courses and classes
in colleges
to make sure I am up to date in this field. I use
all I learn there in my classroom.
I am very happy to teach at ABCD Academy for Children.
Please stop by and say hello to me. I look forward
to meeting you.
